Beyond Boundaries:
What’s Next? has been chosen as the theme for this Career Week because we are living in a time of rapid change. Developments in artificial intelligence, digitalization, and other societal and technological innovations are having a major impact on the labor market and on how we view our future. Jobs are evolving, new sectors are emerging, and the skills that are important today may look very different in just a few years. That is precisely why it is important to pause and reflect on the question: What’s next? At the same time, this theme is about pushing boundaries. Beyond Boundaries refers not only to the borders between sectors, disciplines, and traditional career paths, but also to personal limits. Students and young professionals are increasingly challenged to think broadly, remain flexible, and stay open to unexpected opportunities. In addition, this is a deliberately broad theme. Because Career Week consists of both a symposium and various career events, it offers ample room for diverse perspectives. Speakers can interpret the theme in their own way and connect it to their expertise, while participants are encouraged to reflect on their own future. In this way, Beyond Boundaries: What’s Next? provides a fitting and timely foundation for a week dedicated to growth, exploration, and looking ahead.
Symposium
The Symposium, organized by FSR and B&R Beurs, brings together students and industry professionals to explore key topics in finance and investments. This year’s theme, "Beyond Boundaries", focuses on identifying and leveraging opportunities in the ever-evolving financial landscape.

The Symposium will feature speakers from leading financial institutions: State Street, ABN AMRO, and Robeco, who will share their insights on how to recognize and unlock potential in investment strategies, financial markets, and personal career development.

In addition to individual speaker sessions, the event will include an engaging panel discussion, where the speakers will debate the future of investment and the role of potential in shaping financial decisions. To close the day, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with professionals and fellow students during networking drinks.

Investment Week
The Investment Week, organised by FSR and B&R Beurs, is one of the most exciting events of the year for students looking to gain hands-on experience in the world of finance and investment. Taking place from May 18 to May 22, this multi-day event offers a unique opportunity to engage with leading financial firms through workshops, case studies, and networking activities.

Throughout the week, students will have the chance to attend workshops, where industry professionals share insights into financial markets, investment strategies, and career development. Additionally, participants can put their skills to the test by working on real-world cases alongside top-tier companies, gaining valuable practical experience.

Beyond the professional development aspects, the Investment Week also fosters connections in a more informal setting. Attendees can network with company representatives during the company dinners, creating a perfect balance between career opportunities and social engagement.

Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills, connect with industry leaders, or simply expand your network, the Investment covers it al!
